Grassy Hill

Peak

Grassy Hill is the fourteenth highest mountain in Hong Kong. Peaked at 647 m, it is situated between Tsuen Wan and Tai Po and near Lead Mine Pass. Stage 7 of MacLehose Trail runs near its peak.

The Hong Kong Heritage Museum is a public museum of history, art and culture in Sha Tin, Hong Kong, located beside the Shing Mun River. The museum opened on 16 December 2000 and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. Hong Kong Heritage Museum is situated 4 km south of Shek Lau Tung.

Ten Thousand Buddha’s Monastery

The Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery is a mid-20th century Buddhist temple located in Sha Tin, Hong Kong, at 220 Pai Tau Village. Its designation as a monastery is actually a misnomer because there are no monks residing at the complex, which is managed solely by laypersons. Ten Thousand Buddha’s Monastery is situated 2½ km southeast of Shek Lau Tung.
