Daegu International Airport is an international airport serving the city of Daegu and the surrounding area in southeastern South Korea. The airport is also a military base for the ROKAF's 11th Fighter Wing, whose three squadrons fly the F-15K. Daegu International Airport is situated 2 km northwest of Dongchon station.

Haean Station is a station of the Daegu Subway Line 1 in Bangchon-dong, Dong District, Daegu, South Korea. The name of station is derived from the administrative division of Haean-myeon, which became part of Daegu in 1958. Haean station is situated 1 km east of Dongchon station.
