Shin-Kamigotō is a town located in Minami-Matsuura District, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan,encompassing the islands of Nakadori, Wakamatsu and other surrounding islands.It was the headquarters of the Aokata Family, part of the Matsuura clan, who recorded the "Aokata Documents". Shin-Kamigotō is situated 8 km northeast of Wakamatsu-seto.
