Iwami Airport is an airport located 2.8 NM Masuda, Shimane Prefecture, Japan. It is also known as Hagi-Iwami Airport due to its proximity to the city of Hagi in Yamaguchi Prefecture. It is a 2 or 3 hour drive from the old town of Iwami, its primary namesake. Iwami Airport is situated 3½ km southwest of Takatsu River.

The park takes its name from the Man'yōshū, drawing on the historic connections between Kakinomoto no Hitomaro and Iwami Province, and includes within it a botanical garden with 153 of the species of plant that are named in the anthology.
