Hyōtanjima is an uninhabited island in the Geiyo Islands chain in the Seto Inland Sea, in Japan. The island is split between Hiroshima Prefecture and Ehime Prefecture at a point where it is 74 metres wide, the country's shortest prefectural border.

Kōsan-ji is a Hongan-ji school Jōdo Shinshū temple on the island of Ikuchijima in Onomichi, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. Founded by the industrialist Kōzō Kanamoto in 1936 in honour of his deceased mother, and with an area of approximately fifty thousand square metres, many of its structures are modelled upon the country's most famous historic temples and shrines. Kousanji Temple is situated 3½ km east of Captain Shoal.
