Mount Yasumandake

Mount Yasumandake is the highest peak on the island of Hirado, Japan. The mountain was sacred to Buddhists and Shintoists, and as Christianity became prevalent in Hirado it also became an object of Hidden Christian worship. Mount Yasumandake is situated 3 km northeast of Misui-hana.
Ikitsuki Bridge

The Ikitsuki Bridge is a continuous truss bridge that connects Ikitsuki to Hirado Island. Completed in 1991, it has a main span of 400 meters. It is the longest continuous truss bridge in the world. Ikitsuki Bridge is situated 3½ km north of Misui-hana.
