Mount Hongū, occasionally also known as Tsuruyama or Maruyama, is a sacred hill in Ayabe, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. It is a shintaizan, or physical embodiment of a kami, that is considered by the Oomoto religion to be its primary spiritual center. Hongucho is situated 6 km northeast of Mimata.
