Nachi Falls in Nachikatsuura, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, is one of the best-known waterfalls in Japan. With a drop of 133 metres and 13 metres wide, it is the tallest waterfall with a single uninterrupted drop in Japan; however, the tallest Japanese waterfalls with multiple drops are Hannoki Falls, at 497 m, and Shōmyō Falls, at 350 m.

Seiganto-ji, Temple of Crossing the Blue Shore, is a Tendai Buddhist temple in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004 as part of Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range.
