Sonchon County
Sŏnch'ŏn County is a kun, or county, on the coast of the Yellow Sea in west-central North P'yŏngan province, North Korea. To the north it borders Ch'ŏnma, to the east Kusŏng and Kwaksan, and to the west Tongrim; to the south, it borders nothing but the sea.Photo: Wikimedia, CC BY-SA 3.0.

Sŏnch'ŏn station is a railway station in Sŏnch'ŏn-ŭp, Sŏnch'ŏn County, North P'yŏngan Province, North Korea. It is on located on the P'yŏngŭi Line of the Korean State Railway. Sonchon station is situated 4 km north of Sonchon County.
