It is on located on the P'yŏngbu Line, which was formed from part of the Kyŏngŭi Line to accommodate the shift of the capital from Seoul to P'yŏngyang… Sariwŏn Ch’ŏngnyŏn is situated 190 metres southeast of Sariwŏn.
