Soyosan is a mountain in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Its area extends across the cities of Pocheon and Dongducheon. It has an elevation of 587 m. The mountain is home to two Buddhist shrines commemorating Silla priests Wonhyo and Uisang, and a small temple called Jajaeam. Soyosan is situated 1¼ km northeast of Soyosan station.
Camp Casey
Military installation
Camp Casey is a U.S. military base on Soyosan Mountain in Dongducheon, South Korea, 40 miles north of Seoul, South Korea. Camp Casey was named in 1952 after Major Hugh Boyd Casey, who was killed in a plane crash near the camp site during the Korean War. Camp Casey is situated 3 km southeast of Soyosan station.
