The Yangyang Pumped Storage Power Station uses the water of the Namdae-Chun River to operate a 1,000-megawatt pumped storage hydroelectric power scheme, about 10 kilometres west of Yangyang in Gangwon Province, South Korea. Yangyang Pumped Storage Power Station is situated 3½ km southwest of Osaekcheon.
