Tai'an Township is a mountain indigenous township in southeastern Miaoli County, Taiwan. It is the largest township and the only mountain indigenous township in Miaoli County. Tai’an is situated 6 km southwest of Lung-shan Tribe.

Shitan Township / Shihtan Township is a rural township in Miaoli County, Taiwan. It is located in a mountainous area with a mild, sub-tropical climate. Its rainy season is from May to September. Shitan's population was estimated to be 4,141 in January 2023. Shitan is situated 9 km northwest of Lung-shan Tribe.
