The narrow-gauge Paengmu Line connects to the standard-gauge network here. Paegam Chongnyon station is situated 3 km west of Puk-ch’on.

Namgye station is a railway station in Paegam county, Ryanggang province, North Korea, on the Paektusan Ch'ŏngnyŏn Line of the Korean State Railway. The station, along with the rest of the Hapsu-Paegam section, was opened by the Government Railways of Chosen on 1 August 1934. Namgye is situated 3 km south of Puk-ch’on.
