Futaba is a town in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. As of 24 March 2025, the town had an actual population of 180, although the official registered population was 5,300 in 2,301 households. Futaba is situated 6 km northwest of Ukedono-hana.

Tomioka is a town of about 1300 inhabitants in Fukushima prefecture, just off the Japanese east coast. These days its claim to fame, or maybe infamy is the nearby Fukushima nuclear power plant damaged by the massive 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.

Ōkuma is a town located in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. In 2010, the town had a population of 11,515. However, the town was totally evacuated in the aftermath of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster and residents were permitted return during daylight hours from May 2013. Okuma is situated 9 km southwest of Ukedono-hana.
