Hokkaido Hiyama Subprefectural Bereau

Hiyama Subprefecture is a subprefecture of Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan located on the Oshima Peninsula on the Sea of Japan side. It includes Okushiri Island. It was established in 1897. Hokkaido Hiyama Subprefectural Bereau is situated 2½ km south of Esashi-kō.

Kamome Island is an island in the Sea of Japan just off the coast of the town of Esashi, Hokkaidō, Japan. The island serves as a breakwater for the Esashi port.

Ubagami Daijingū is a Shinto shrine in Esashi, Hokkaidō, Japan. Its foundation date is uncertain but its existence is documented from the Edo period. It is considered the oldest Shinto Shrine in Hokkaido.

Esashi is a town in Hiyama Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. It is the capital of Hiyama Subprefecture. One of the oldest towns in Hokkaido, the name Esashi comes from the Ainu word for kombu, a type of edible kelp well known in Japan.

Kaminokuni is a town located in Hiyama Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. As of September 2016, the town had an estimated population of 5,161, and a density of 9.4 per km2. The total area is 547.58 km2. Kaminokuni is situated 9 km south of Esashi-kō.
