Lake Waiparera is a dune lake in the Northland Region of New Zealand. It is located immediately North-West of Waiharara on the Aupouri Peninsula. The lake is the largest of the Aupouri Lakes.

In October 2020, the Government committed $65,643 from the Provincial Growth Fund to upgrade Kaimaumau Marae, creating 23 jobs. Kaimaumau is situated 8 km northeast of Waiharara.
