Tikapa is a rural community in the Gisborne Region of New Zealand. It is on the southern side of the Waiapu River mouth and north of Ruatoria. In 1952 the community numbered 156, predominantly Māori. Tikapa is situated 4½ km northeast of Te Pohui.
