Tarahi

Tarahi is a 388 m high andesite volcano, in the Kaikohe-Bay of Islands volcanic field in New Zealand that was never a pā. Northwest of Tarahi is a smaller, 350 m basaltic scoria cone, Haruru pā, before the higher cone of Te Ahuahu. Tarahi is situated 3 km south of Te Ahuahu.

St John the Baptist Church is an heritage-listed Anglican Church and associated churchyard built in 1831 by the Church Missionary Society at Te Waimate mission at Waimate North, inland from the Bay of Islands, in New Zealand. St. John the Baptist Church is situated 4 km northeast of Te Ahuahu.

It was one of the earliest centres of European settlement and features the second-oldest surviving European building in New Zealand, at Te Waimate Mission. Waimate North is situated 5 km northeast of Te Ahuahu.
