St Canice’s Church

St Canice's Church in Westport, New Zealand, is a Catholic parish church, designed by John Scott. Consecrated in 1976, it is the second church on the site, replacing the earlier St Canice's designed by Francis Petre and completed in 1888. St Canice’s Church is situated 4 km west of Sergeants Hill.

Buller High School is a secondary school in the town of Westport, New Zealand. The school has a roll of over 340 students, all Year 9 to Year 13. As well as students from Westport, the school has a large number of students from nearby towns that do not have high schools of their own, such as Waimangaroa, Granity, and Seddonville. Buller High School is situated 4 km northwest of Sergeants Hill.
