Outram is a rural suburb of Dunedin, New Zealand, with a population of 950 as of June 2024. It is located 28 kilometres west of the central city at the edge of the Taieri Plains, close to the foot of Maungatua. Outram is situated 6 km southwest of Lee Stream.

The Taieri Plain is an area of fertile agricultural land to the southwest of Dunedin, in Otago, New Zealand. The plain covers an area of some 300 square kilometres, with a maximum extent of 30 kilometres. Taieri Plain is situated 8 km south of Lee Stream.
