Mount Haast is a hill located near Springs Junction, in the Buller District of New Zealand. The hill is prominent when approaching Springs Junction from the south-east on State Highway 7, where the pyramidal shape gives the impression of a volcanic cone.

Springs Junction is a small settlement and road junction in the West Coast region of New Zealand. It lies at the junction of State Highway 7 and State Highway 65, 45 km east of Reefton, on the main route between Christchurch and the Nelson, Tasman and Buller districts. Springs Junction is situated 9 km southeast of Lake Stream.
