Kaikoura is a hill in Kaikōura District, Canterbury and has an elevation of 85 metres. Kaikoura is situated nearby to the quarter South Bay, as well as near the hamlet Peketa.

Takahanga Marae

Takahanga Marae is a marae of the Ngāti Kuri hapū of Ngāi Tahu in Kaikōura, in the South Island of New Zealand. The marae was built in the 1980s on the site of a historic pā that existed prior to European colonisation. Takahanga Marae is situated 2½ km east of Kaikoura.
