Melong
Town
Melong is a community in Cameroon. It lies on the N5 road to the north of Nkongsamba. The soil is volcanic and fertile. The country around Melong was once covered by thick rainforest, the native population are Mbo'o, a group of Sawa people who are established in the Littoral and South West Region of the Country. Melong is situated 8 km northeast of Ekolkang.

Baré is a town and commune in Cameroon. It is a mildly populated village in Nkongsamba, market day is every Thursday. Baré-Bakem is a region of Moungo whose last king of ancestral royal lineage before the colonization was King Ekandjoum Joseph. Baré is situated 9 km southeast of Ekolkang.
