The Museu da Música is a museum in the Palace of Mafra, Portugal. The museum primarily features musical instruments; among its holdings is a 1725 Stradivarius cello once owned and played by King Luís I of Portugal (ruled 1861–1889. Museu Nacional da Música is situated 4 km northeast of Valverde.

The Barreira Megalithic Complex is located in the Sintra municipality in the Lisbon District of Portugal. Situated on a small wooded hill overlooking the village of Odrinhas, site of Roman ruins and an archaeological museum, it consists of about twenty menhirs and other monoliths or megaliths. Barreira Megalithic Complex is situated 3½ km south of Valverde.
