Village
Bako is a town in north-western Ivory Coast. It is a sub-prefecture and commune of Odienné Department in Kabadougou Region, Denguélé District. In the Dioula language of Ivory Coast and the Bambara language of Mali, "Bako" means "behind the river": "Ba" means "river" and "ko" means "behind". Bako is situated 5 km north of Toumba.

Sokorodougou is a village in northwestern Ivory Coast. It is in the sub-prefecture of Bako, Odienné Department, Kabadougou Region, Denguélé District. Sokorodougou was a commune until March 2012, when it became one of 1,126 communes nationwide that were abolished. Sokorodougou is situated 7 km south of Toumba.
