Prestea is a town in the Western Region, in southwest Ghana and about 50 km north of the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. It lies on the west bank of the Ankobra River, about 60 mi northwest of Cape coast. Prestea is situated 4½ km southwest of Brumase.
