Village

Sambailo is a town and sub-prefecture in the Koundara Prefecture in the Boké Region of northern Guinea, near the border of Senegal. As of 2014 it had a population of 15,479 people. Sambailo is situated 5 km north of Mortordji.

Koundara is the first major town when coming via N5 from Senegal or via N9 from Guinea-Bissau. In 2014, it was home to about 27,000 people.
