is a lively coastal village on the , around 35 km from Corfu Town. Once a small fishing settlement, it has grown into one of the island’s most popular resort villages, while still retaining a distinct charm centred around its picturesque harbour.

During the 20th century, probably with the advent of mass tourism, several tavernas were built on this islet and a jetty was constructed, linking it permanently to the mainland. is situated 4½ km southwest of Agnitsini.
