Sidi Ali, formally known as Cassaigne during the French colonization, is a town and commune in the Mostaganem Province, Algeria. It is the capital of Sidi Ali District. According to the 2008 census it has a population of 37,230. Sidi Ali is situated 5 km northwest of Sidi Ziani.
