The town of Burguillos lies at an elevation of 80 meters on the plain of the Guadalquivir river, 23 kilometres north of the provincial capital, Seville. Burguillos is situated 5 km west of Pelagatos.

Cantillana is situated 8 km east of Pelagatos.
