Mar Menor

Mar Menor is a coastal saltwater lagoon in the located south-east of the Autonomous Community of , , near . Its name is the opposite of the Mediterranean, which is the Mar Mayor of the region.

is a municipality and a coastal spa town and former fishing village on the western side of the Mar Menor in the , southeastern Spain.

Town
is a town of some 32,000 inhabitants in in the southeast of Spain. Its main claim to fame is the international Jazz Festival held here every year since 1998. The town has also hosted the Spanish Air Force Academy since the 1920s.
