The Painted cave is an archaeological museum and park in the town of Galdar, located the northwest of Grand Canary in the Canary Islands, Spain. This centre is part of the Spanish Ministry of Culture, Historic Heritage and Museums of the town council of Grand Canary. Painted Cave, Galdar is situated 3½ km southeast of Puerto de la Caleta.

Puerto de las Nieves is a fishing village on the north-western coast of Gran Canaria, and the port of the town Agaete at a few kilometres' distance. Ferries leave five times a day for Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The crossing takes 80 minutes with catamarans. Puerto de las Nieves is situated 7 km southwest of Puerto de la Caleta.
