Mount Gurugu is a rural area in Morocco located almost entirely in the town of Bni Chiker near the province of Nador. The mountain is densely populated, with no proper census having been done within the area, rather relying on the amount of houses visible. Mount Gourougou is situated 3½ km south of Karmoud.

It is the birthplace of the writer Mohammed Choukri and of Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, who on 16 May 2012 was appointed Minister of Women's Rights and Government spokesperson in the Ayrault government in France. Bni Chiker is situated 3½ km northwest of Karmoud.
