Fort Benghisa is a polygonal fort in Birżebbuġa, Malta. It was built between 1910 and 1912 by the British on high ground on the seaward face of Benghisa Point, the southern arm of Marsaxlokk Bay.

Birżebbuġa is a seaside town in the Southern Region of Malta, close to Marsaxlokk. It is approximately 13 kilometres from the capital Valletta, and has a population of 9,736 as of March 2014.

Safi

Safi is a village in the Western Region of Malta, bordering Żurrieq and Kirkop. It has a population of 2,126 people as of March 2014. The formation of the village, as known today, goes back to the Punic-Roman period: the Ta' Ġawhar Tower, a round Punic-Roman tower in the village, was probably built at the time of the Punic Wars. Safi is situated 4 km northwest of Tar-Ranzija.

The Southern Harbour of Malta extends around the natural harbour between Valetta and the Three Cities, with numerous settlements, most of them dating back centuries, on rocks and cliffs immediately around the harbour bay, as well as further inland.
