Ġgantija is a megalithic temple complex from the Neolithic era, on the Mediterranean island of Gozo in Malta. The Ġgantija temples are the earliest of the Megalithic Temples of Malta and are older than the pyramids of Egypt. Ġgantija is situated 3½ km northeast of Tal-Debda.

Munxar is an administrative unit of Malta, which lies on the southern side of the island of Gozo. As of March 2014, its population was 1,454 people. Close to this village, there is Xlendi Bay, a popular tourist resort engulfed in a fjord-like inlet amongst high cliffs.
