Glocknerkees

Glocknerkees is a glacier in Carinthia, Austria and has an elevation of 3,140 metres. Glocknerkees is situated nearby to the locality Bahnhof, as well as near Eisleiterl.

The Großglockner, or just Glockner, is, at 3,798 metres above the Adriatic, the highest mountain in Austria and highest mountain in the Alps east of the Brenner Pass.

The Pasterze, at approximately 8.4 kilometres in length, is the longest glacier in Austria and in the Eastern Alps. It lies within the Glockner Group of the High Tauern mountain range in Carinthia, directly beneath Austria's highest mountain, the Grossglockner.

At the height of 3,770 metres the Kleinglockner is the third highest mountain summit in Austria. However, with a prominence of only 17 metres it is arguable whether it can be counted as an independent mountain, or just as a subpeak of the Großglockner.

The Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe is part of the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. The end point of a cul-de-sac and lookout point is in Austria in the Glockner Group in Carinthia at an altitude of 2,369 m above sea level.
