Havneby is the main town on the Danish island of Rømø with a population of 257. The Rømø-Sylt ferry connects Havneby to List on the island of Sylt in Germany, and serves as one of two transport links on Rømø, the other being the Rømø Dam. Havneby is situated 8 km southwest of Vadehavet.

Lakolk is a small settlement on the Danish island of Rømø, in the Wadden Sea and connected to the mainland by the Rømødæmningen. It is known for its wide sandy beach, which is one of the best beaches in Denmark for kite flying and beach sailing. Lakolk is situated 8 km west of Vadehavet.
