Sandur is a village on the south coast of the island of Sandoy in the Faroe Islands. The Sandur hoard of silver coins, dating to the end of the 11th century, attests to the long history of the village. Sandur is situated 3½ km south of Traðadalur.

Skarvanes is a village on Sandoy, in the Faroe Islands. It temporarily became extinct in 2000 when its last permanent inhabitant died, though the population has since rebounded; as of 2013, the population is 13, with most of the houses being uses as holiday homes. Skarvanes is situated 9 km southeast of Traðadalur.
