Saint Olav’s Church

Saint Olav's Church is a medieval church in the village of Kirkjubøur in Streymoy, Faroe Islands. It was built before 1200, which makes it the oldest church of the Faroe Islands. Saint Olav’s Church is situated 4 km northeast of Streymagjógv.

Hestur

Hestur is an island in the central Faroe Islands, to the west of Streymoy and the south of Koltur. Hestur means horse in Faroese. On the west coast is a guillemot colony. Hestur is situated 2½ km northwest of Streymagjógv.

Skopun is a town in the Faroe Islands situated on the northern coast of Sandoy. Skopun is the second-largest town on the island. Skopun Municipality consists only of the town of Skopun. Skopun is situated 3½ km south of Streymagjógv.

Kirkjubøur

Kirkjubøur is the southernmost village on Streymoy. The village is the Faroes' most important historical site, with the ruins of the Magnus Cathedral from around 1300, Saint Olav's Church, from the 12th century and the old farmhouse of Kirkjubøargarður from the 11th century.
