The Little Mermaid is a bronze statue by Edvard Eriksen, depicting a mermaid becoming human. The sculpture is displayed on a rock by the waterside at the Langelinie promenade in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Little Mermaid is situated 3½ km southwest of Renden.

Middelgrundsfortet, known as Ungdomsøen since 2015, is a sea fort located on an artificial island in the Øresund between Copenhagen and Malmö. The fortress is constructed at a point where the seabed is 7 meters below the water surface at the northern meeting point of the straits Kongedybet and Hollænderdybet.
