The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid is a bronze statue by Edvard Eriksen, depicting a mermaid becoming human. The sculpture is displayed on a rock by the waterside at the Langelinie promenade in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Little Mermaid is situated 1¼ km west of Lynetten.

Trekroner Søfort is a sea fort at the entrance to the Copenhagen harbour. From 1713 until after World War I, Trekroner Fort was part of the fortifications of Copenhagen. Trekroner Fort is situated 750 metres north of Lynetten.
