Ø Bakker, or simply Ø, is a piece of land in the valley of the Nørreå in the eastern part of Jutland, Denmark. Its name means island hills and probably comes from the isolated appearance of this piece of land, much like an island of hills surrounded by meadows. Ø is situated 3½ km northwest of Krogstederne.

Mammen is a village in Viborg Municipality, Denmark 7 km north of Bjerringbro. Mammen is recognized as the production site of Mammen cheese, a well known brand in Denmark. Mammen is situated 5 km southwest of Krogstederne.

Ørum

Ørum is a small Danish town with a population of 1,511, on the road between Viborg and Randers. To distinguish it from other places in Denmark, it is referred to as Ørum Sønderlyng or sometimes Ørum Tjele. Ørum is situated 6 km northwest of Krogstederne.

Bjerringbro is a railway town located at the railway line between Viborg and Randers and lying on both sides of the Gudenå. Until 1 January 2007 it was the municipal seat of the former Bjerringbro Municipality and today, with a population of 7,407, it is the second largest town of Viborg Municipality, Central Denmark Region in Denmark. Bjerringbro is situated 7 km south of Krogstederne.
