Húsavík is an old village located on the east of the island of Sandoy, in Húsavík Municipality, Faroe Islands. In the centre of Húsavík there is a ruin called ‘Heimi á Garði’. Húsavík is situated 4 km southeast of Hólmavatn.

Sandur is a village on the south coast of the island of Sandoy in the Faroe Islands. The Sandur hoard of silver coins, dating to the end of the 11th century, attests to the long history of the village. Sandur is situated 4½ km west of Hólmavatn.
