Leitisvatn, sometimes called Sørvágsvatn, is the largest lake in the Faroe Islands. It is situated on the island of Vágar, between the municipalities of Sørvágur and Vágar. Sørvágsvatn is situated 2½ km north of Bøsdalafossur.

Located on the south coast of the island of Vágar, Miðvágur is the largest town on this Faroese island. Miðvágur is situated 3½ km northeast of Bøsdalafossur.
