The Burgfeldstand is a mountain of the Emmental Alps, located in the Bernese Oberland near Beatenberg. It is the highest summit of the Güggisgrat. Several trails lead to the top.

Niederhorn

The Niederhorn is a peak of the Emmental Alps in the Bernese Oberland near Beatenberg. It is the peak farthest west in the Güggis ridge. From its summit Lake Thun and the entire Bernese Alps can be seen. Niederhorn is situated 2½ km west of Mauren.

Harderkulm

The Harderkulm is a funicular station at 1,322 metres in the Berner Oberland region of Switzerland, overlooking the towns of Interlaken and Unterseen. It is located at the western end of the Harder, which in itself is the most western, forested ridge of the about 30 kilometres long, prominent mountain range dominating the north shore of the Lake of Brienz. Harderkulm is situated 3½ km east of Mauren.

Unterseen is a historic town and a municipality in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. Unterseen is a german calque of the latin name Interlaken, and is located on the flat area on the eastern shore of Lake Thun between the two creek Lombach below the Chienberg to the north and the Aare to the south, which both flow into Lake Thun. Unterseen is situated 3½ km southeast of Mauren.
