Gamleby is the second largest locality situated in Västervik Municipality, Kalmar County, Sweden with 2,775 inhabitants in 2010. It is situated about 20 km north-west of Västervik, in the area known as Tjust. Gamleby is situated 5 km southwest of Lofta.

Edsbruk is a locality situated in Västervik Municipality, Kalmar County, Sweden with 300 inhabitants in 2010. The community was originally named Ed. In 1670 Abraham Parment established an ironworks there, Eds Bruk, which employed a large number of the inhabitants. Edsbruk is situated 9 km north of Lofta.
