Älmhult is a town in Småland in southern Sweden. The town has about 9,000 inhabitants, with a total of 15,000 in the municipality.

Råshult is a village just north of Älmhult in Kronoberg County, Småland, Sweden. It is notable as the birthplace of the seminal biologist and "father of modern taxonomy", Carl Linnaeus. In Råshult there is also a memorial to him. Råshult is situated 10 km north of Låkasjön.
