Brandenberger Ache
The Brandenberger Ache is a river of Bavaria, Germany, and of the Kufstein District, Tyrol, Austria. It is a 38 km long left tributary of the Inn. It starts as the outflow of the Spitzingsee in southern Bavaria, and flows from north to south to the town of Rattenberg where it merges with the Inn.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Schloss Matzen is a historic Austrian castle, located in the Tyrol near the branch of the Ziller Valley from the main Inn valley. Strategically located to control one of the major transalpine trade routes, the origins of the castle date from Roman times and it has a distinctive round tower thought to be of possible Roman derivation. Schloss Matzen is situated 4 km southwest of Brandenberger Ache.
