Ampferstein

Ampferstein is a peak in Telfes, Innsbruck-Land District, Tyrol and has an elevation of 2,556 metres. Ampferstein is situated nearby to the locality Lizumer Kar, as well as near Isse.

The Marchreisenspitze, at 2,620 m, is the fifth highest summit of the Kalkkögel in the Stubai Alps. Together with the Ampferstein and the Malgrubenspitze, they form the well known Dreigestirn above the Axamer Lizum, which are visible far into the Inn valley.
